This update includes improvements to enhance the functionality of Windows 10.
Windows 10 updates are cumulative. Therefore, this package contains all previously-released fixes. If you have installed previous updates, only the new fixes that are contained in this package will be downloaded and installed to your computer.
This update is available from Windows Update. When you turn on automatic updating, this update will be downloaded and installed automatically.
Für alle, die an einer Lösung für eine KMS Aktivierung von Windows 10 mit einem Server 2012 R2 interessiert sind.
- In VLSC - click License, then Relationship Summary.
- Now click the License ID of your current Active license.
- Once the page changes, click Product Keys.
- Scroll down the list and look for "Windows Srv 2012R2 DataCtr/Std KMS for Windows 10". Use this key.
Requirements:
- Windows Server 2012R2 with Volume Activation role installed
- KB3058168 Installed.
- Currently does not work with 2008/2008R2. I'll look back through my history, and once I find the link about this, I'll update.
Trying to use the key listed under Windows 10 (whatever edition), will result in an error message. Basically because you cannot use a client KMS key on a Server. Since the key listed there would be a client key, we have to use this special one until Server 2016 is released.

Für die Windows Enterprise Versionen gibt es keine Möglichkeit ein kostenloses Upgrade durchzuführen, da es sich hier um ein Unternehmensprodukt handelt. Bei einem aktiven Software Assurance Vertrag hat man ja ohnehin Anspruch auf die aktuellste Version.
Windows Pro Versionen kann/könnte man auch über das Netzwerk upgraden (nicht über WSUS!!).
Folgende Schritte sind dazu notwendig:
- man besorgt sich ein Windows 10 Pro und extrahiert den Inhalt auf einem Netzwerk-Share
- nun kann man das Upgrade mit Hilfe eines Startup-Scripts an den Clients auslösen, indem man folgenden Befehl ausführt:
\\server\share\setup.exe /auto upgrade

Microsoft hat das Windows Assessment and Deployment Kit – kurz Windows ADK – für Windows 10 veröffentlicht.
Die finale Version trägt die Versionsnummer 10.0.10240.16384 und kann hier heruntergeladen werden. Weitere Informationen gibt es hier. (Danke an Lutz für die Info)

Leider ist der Fehler auch in der Version Windows 10 Build 10.0.10240 Enterprise noch enthalten.
Auch in der Windows 10 Build 10.0.10176 ist der Bug mit dem Sperrbildschirm immer noch vorhanden. Sobald ein Computer Mitglied in der Domäne ist, lässt sich der über GPO zugewiesene Sperrbildschirm nicht aktivieren.
Damit es funktioniert, muss bei der Anmeldung das Drücken von Strg+ALT+ENF über GPO deaktiviert werden, wenn man einen benutzerbasierten Sperrbildschirm möchte.
